Over 25 years ago, I started making salsa in my own kitchen — simply for myself and my kids. I began sharing it at family gatherings, with friends, and as holiday gifts. Everywhere I went, the feedback was the same: "You need to sell this!"
Life, however, had other plans. I built a career, raised three amazing kids, and went through a divorce. Years later I met and married my incredible wife and business partner, Brittnay, and we welcomed five beautiful grandchildren. Throughout it all, my passion for making salsa never faded.
In 2024, the dream became reality. We obtained our business license, found a commercial kitchen, and launched Salsa Novo. In just two months, we produced nearly 3,000 jars of mild and medium salsa — and the response was beyond anything we could have imagined. Customers’ enthusiasm encouraged us to launch a hot version too, which quickly became a favorite.
Today, Salsa Novo is proudly featured in Jeremiah’s Café, Boone Street Market, and Local’s Deli. We’re expanding to Knoxville in 2025, with Salsa Novo arriving at The Southern Market — and an exciting feature in KnoxvilleVoyager Magazine is on the way!
Every jar of Salsa Novo carries the spirit of fresh, homemade flavor and genuine passion. It’s about more than salsa — it’s about bringing people together, creating memories, and following a lifelong dream.
We’re so grateful for everyone who has supported us on this journey. We can’t wait to continue sharing Salsa Novo with you!
